Closing The Gap

Black, Asian and Mixed ethnicity women and birthing people are more likely to die giving birth than white women and birthing people. This is an urgent human rights crisis, and we all have a role to play in ending it.

We’ve worked with leading healthcare and inclusion experts to create a FREE online workshop for healthcare professionals on this urgent issue. And now we need your help to make some noise about it.

Here’s a list of actions you can take to help us:

Download

Download our Closing the Gap leaflet and take it to your next midwife appointment.

Contact your GP & Midwife

Use our template to email or write to your GP surgery urging them to sign their staff up to the Closing the Gap workshop, and to tell their peers and colleagues about it.

Contact your Maternity Unit
