With our beloved NHS at breaking point, maternity services in crisis and a national shortage of midwives, we understand how tough it is right now to get the care and support you might need from a midwife. If you’ve got questions, worries or are in need of advice, what you need is answers, reassurance and words of wisdom from a qualified professional - not to be spending hours on hold trying to get through to somebody who will listen!
Here at The Positive Birth Company we want to help. It’s time to Call The Midwife! This is our *brand new* midwife-led informational support service. A confidential, FREE 1:1 call with our resident midwife where you will be listened to, receive guidance, signposting and be able to talk over any concerns you may have around pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.
Our hope is this new service will not only benefit our community but also support the NHS by bridging a gap. This free service is initially available to all those currently enrolled on the Pregnancy Pack, Hypnobirthing Pack or Postpartum Pack.
Though our midwife will not be able to give bespoke medical advice and won't have access to your health records, they will be able to provide up-to-date information and share next steps, if required. We’ve made the decision to fully fund this new service because we know so many families are struggling right now with the cost of living and the midwife crisis in the NHS is making things tough too. It has always been our mission to make education and support more accessible and we hope this is another way of doing that.
This service is available initially for a limited trial period and open to those in the UK only. Full T'&C’s can be found during booking.
Simply purchase our Hypnobirthing, Pregnancy or Postpartum Pack to be eligible for this service. Bookings are open from the 1st of March and you will be emailed instructions on how to book your appointment.

Our Call The Midwife service is available for UK residents who have purchased one of our pregnancy, hypnobirthing or postpartum digital courses. This service is not currently available for non-UK residents.

As a UK based business we are unfortunately not currently able to offer this service to people outside of the UK. This is also due to the fact our midwives are offering specific advice related to those using the UK’s NHS.

Yes! We have made the decision to fully fund this new service, making it free of charge for members of our community, because we know so many families are struggling right now with the cost of living. It has always been our mission to make education and support more accessible and we hope this is another way of doing that. Money should never be a barrier to accessing essential information and we promise to keep on doing what we do to ensure everyone has equal opportunity in pregnancy and birth.
